What stress is, how it works, and how spirituality can help improve your health.


Join us as we explore the science of stress – from the perspectives of spirituality, psychology, neuroscience, and epidemiology. Through meditation, contemplation, and discussion, we will practice re-framing life stressors through a spiritual lens, to improve immune function and overall well-being.

 

Facilitator: Jane Ellen Clougherty, MSc ScD RScP


Dr. Clougherty is a Licensed Professional Practitioner of Science of Mind, and a tenured Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health at Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health.  Her research is in environmental and climate justice, with an emphasis on how chronic stress affects susceptibility to environmental pollution.
